The Agricultural Economics Society will be celebrating its Centenary in the city where it was founded 100 years ago, at Wadham College, University of Oxford, March 23-25th 2026.
Highlights include the Presidential Address by Professor Alan Matthews, Professor Emeritus of European Agricultural Policy, University of Dublin and a Keynote by Professor Jill McCluskey, Washington State University and President Elect, International Association of Agricultural Economists
Special sessions on the history of the Agricultural Economics Society; the role of Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Economists in a changing world research priorities, methods and approaches for the future.
The 2026 Conference will also mark the 25th anniversary of EuroChoices, a joint outreach publication of the AES and the European Association of Agricultural Economists.
There will also be a full programme of contributed papers, symposia, workshops and poster presentations.
